Meet the Artist

My name is Candice Kraykovich and I am a fine artist and creative located in Columbus, Ohio. 

As a painter, I specialize in abstract realism, creating narratives of mythical dimension, symbolism, and inner vision. Through my paintings, viewers are invited to explore celestial and spiritual symbolism through a dreamlike, expressionist style with romantic and surrealist undertones. Using my intuition to blend abstraction and figuration, I intend to evoke themes of the subconscious, transformation, emotional processing, and dream phenomena.    

As a fiber artist, I handcraft wearable pieces, decor, and accessories. Merging traditional techniques with modern creativity, I aim to design and celebrate individuality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the intentional beauty that comes with handmade work. I draw inspiration from vintage textiles, fabrics, and fashion, which seamlessly influence and enrich my paintings and other works.

I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelors of Art from Columbus College of Art and Design. I am currently an Artist at Pinot's Palette, a paint and sip studio located in the Short North.
